We would rather show you fifty dresses we stand behind than five hundred we are not sure about. Every piece is chosen against a real invitation: a dress code, a setting, a time of day. If it does not answer one of those, it does not get listed.

What we are trying to fix

The hard part of dressing for an event is not finding a dress. It is knowing whether the one you found is right. Sixty-two per cent of guests spend three hours or more on a single outfit, and about a third are not certain what their dress code means when they start. More choice does not solve that. An answer does.
