Our Pricing
One price. Printed once.
Every dress on this site carries one price. There is no strikethrough beside it, no countdown above it, and no sitewide sale coming that would have made waiting the smarter move.
Why we do it this way
A permanent discount is not a discount. When a store shows the same dress at half of a number nobody ever paid, the higher number is not a price, it is a decoration — and the lower one stops feeling like a good deal, because it is simply the price. We would rather set the number once and let it mean something.
What this commits us to
- No sitewide sales. Not seasonally, not on Black Friday.
- No compare-at pricing. You will not see a struck-through number anywhere on this site.
- No countdown timers and no stock counters. If a size is genuinely low we will tell you, and it will be because the inventory says so.
What happens to pieces that do not sell
They move to The Archive at the same price and stop being merchandised. They are not marked down, because marking them down would mean the original price was never real. Once a year we run a single dated sample sale, for one week, to The Invitation List only.
What you get instead of a discount
Free US shipping over $125, free 30-day returns, and garment measurements on every size so the dress fits the first time. We would rather spend the margin there.
